About Us

Ladda Resort is owned and managed by Ladda and Henrik Aagaard.

We lived in Denmark for many years but in 2005 we decided to move permanently to Thailand
where Ladda comes from. Our youngest son (Eddy), naturally moved with us,
and will quickly become a familiar face to our guests.



The original construction of our resort began in December 2003
and was finished in the early autumn of 2004. Upon completion the resort was opened
under the name Ludda Resort and we welcomed our first guests in December 2004.

Unfortunately the resort was only open for one month before the devastating Tsunami
on December 26th 2004 which destroyed almost everything.

We decided to re-build and open again under the new name of Ladda Resort.
The majority of the new construction, including a swimming pool, was completed in July 2006
and fortunately, due to the popularity of the resort, we have since added another 11 bungalows.

The decision to rebuild was based on the support and enthusiasm
of our regular guests and friends as well as a lot of new faces.

This would therefore also be a great opportunity for us to thank our guests
for most of the pictures used on this website.
